Here are a few easy life hacks for your dog to make both of your lives more comfortable.
Has your pup ever gotten into it with a skunk, or anything that stinks for that matter. I’m sure you’ve heard of several ways to get rid of the smell, well here’s one more. You can get rid of the smell by mixing one quater cup of hydrogen peroxide, one quater cup of baking soda, and two teaspoons of liquid Dawn soap. It seems like that Dawn soap can get rid of just about anything.
Every had a pup that’s all stopped up? Usually it’s the other way around, but if your puppy can’t poo, just feed him some canned pumpkin without the spices. This should help with the constipation and things will be moving along just fine.
Lose a fight with a cat? Neosporin works on scrapes and cuts for dogs too. You just need to make sure they don’t lick it off so it can sink in. What I like to keep handy is some non-stick pads and non stick athletic tape. It’s the same stuff they use at the vet to wrap up wounds. Just don’t wrap too tightly and watch the dog as he might want to chew at it when it’s first applied.
