Spike Aerospace’s S-512 Supersonic Jet claims it can reach a maximum speed of Mach 1.8 or 1,370 mph to us land lovers. That’s just a mere 1.8 times the speed of sound. Today, the fastest Boeing 747 can only go approximately 700 mph. Traveling at the Supersonic speeds, you could make it from New York to London in just 3 hours.
But the speed is only part of its appeal. The interior of the plane looks like you’ve stepped into the future with huge windows that allow for panoramic views and seating options that put conventional first class” to shame. (Spike Aerospace is planning to install real tables in the plane’s cabin.)
