Enfield Poltergeist Spooks Actors On Set
The Enfield poltergeist spooked the actors on the set of the drama named “The Enfield Haunting” by Sky Living Drama. Apparently, ever time the camera man would come on set his camera would break. It would annoy him, but the actors would get completely freaked.
The drama looks at real life events from the 70s when the Hodgson family from North London felt targeted by an evil force which supposedly sent furniture flying and possessed their 11-year-old daughter Janet.
To this day, the alleged haunting remains one of the most notorious in Britain, maybe on the same scale as Amityville Horror in the U.S.
While the filming was able to complete, it did seem shake up the cast, along with the original recordings of the spirit talking through the possessed girl. Timothy Spall, who plays the investigator, admitted to Star that listening to the tapes “frightened me to death.” I’m not sure if the haunting is real or not, but I have to agree I’m curious enough to watch.
